Joe Terry’s journey to founding Definitive Diesel & Auto Repair began years ago. Working for different companies, Joe saw the need for a repair shop that prioritized both quality and customer experience. He wanted to build a place where he could sit down with customers, discuss their needs, and ensure they understood their repair options. In 2023, Joe finally realized his dream when he was offered an independent repair shop by a local fleet service. From there, Definitive Diesel was born—a shop that combines expertise with community spirit.
We’re not just about fixing trucks and cars; we’re about making a positive impact. Our shop is closely partnered with Gillette College, providing students with real-world exposure to automotive and diesel technology through tours and employment opportunities. Joe’s background in both auto and diesel education fuels our commitment to training the next generation of technicians right here in Gillette.
